Akbar’s Palace was built by the great emperor Akbar in 1570 A.D.Akbar’s palace was built to serve as a home to Akbar during his visits and pilgrimage to Ajmer.It was made almost unattackable and impregnable by the two impressive stone walls that boarded the palace. A portion of Akbar’s Palace was changed and converted into a museum in 1908. There is beautiful massive black idol of Goddess Kali in the palace. There are brilliant weapons and military on display at the palace turned museum. |
